The first thing that stuck out to me, in regards to Ruth's art and characters, was their unique and diverse fashion sense. As silly as that might sound, I am a sucker for a well-dressed character! I haven't gotten to know them much, but in each drawing she presents there is a story (usually one brimming with romance... did I mention yet she's a sucker for romance?). As a person she is very inspiring in her own right, and I feel the few times I've spoken with her have inspired just as much as the art and characters have, which says a lot :)
The main focus at the start is just drawing Ruth's characters. I really do like them, and I haven't had a moment to better acquaint myself with them (outside of Parker). I have no doubt some actual projects of deeper substance will follow... just as soon as her characters realize I only shoot and torture my own (and others that are approved to have such treatment) >_>
