Lana's a hard one to peg, figure out, get into the mind of, and she's definitely hard to analyze. I think she does this on purpose ;) For this particular image, I wanted to draw her as happy as I could without pulling her out of character, so to speak. I'm pretty sure she's taking off from some sort of law enforcement, flying out of their reach long before they even realized she was gone. Who knows? Maybe she just found a glimpse of happiness and is soaring high above the clouds to keep it safe and sacred... and maybe even enjoy it a bit. I don't think she's telling either way.
